Concussion Masterclass with Professor John Leddy

360 Concussion Care is grounded in the latest evidence and aims to promote the fastest possible recovery after concussion. Research-based knowledge is integrated across disciplines and applied systematically in assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation – regardless whether the concussion happened during a sport or nonsport event.
Professor Leddy will cover both assessment and treatment in the early phase as well as in cases with persistent symptoms. He will share insights from his many years of experience and discuss, among other things, interpretationof results from well-known exertion tests, including the Buffalo Concussion Test, in relation to individual patient characteristics. Exercise by prescription will also be addressed.
The masterclass will place particular emphasis on discussion of assessment methods and their interpretation—for example, how positive and negative findings are understood across clinical contexts—as well as on discussionof specific versus non-specific treatment approaches.
Target audienceMultidisciplinary healthcare professionals who work specifically with people affected by concussion.
This Concussion Masterclass is hosted and arranged by Center for Rehabilitation of Brain Injury and The Danish Concussion Center. The arrangement includes coffee/the and a croissant from 8:30 AM, a coffee break, and a lunch bag to go.
